This will be a great time for families to enjoy the scenic downbeach area of Ventnor, Margate and Longport. The festivities start at 9:30 with registration, breakfast and music at Newport Ave and the Boardwalk in Ventnor and conclude with a barbeque at Tomatoe's Restaurant in Margate.

History of Ventnor's Family Bike Ride
The Ventnor Uptown Merchant's Association kicked off the 2008 season by sponsoring the first annual Ventnor Family Bike Ride. Le Tour de Ventnor took place on May 17, 2008. All proceeds benefitted the Ventnor Recreation Association.
The purpose of this ride was to encourage a safe activity that everyone in the community could enjoy and to promote a family activity. Participants toured Ventnor NJ with their families along a mapped bike route throughout the city on the streets and the boardwalk. Afterwards, there was a Ventnor Family Bike Ride Barbeque. There were lots of food, refreshments, activities and events including a basketball foul shooting contest for all ages, beach ball volleyball, and the 2008 opening of CSURE Playground.
